The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Subject Leader to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our motivated staff at Regents Park Community College.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Sociology department to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
• Monitor and evaluate the Sociology curriculum, implementing improvements as needed.
• Support and guide teachers within the department to develop their practice.
• Promote Sociology across the school to raise its profile and engage students.
• Contribute to the overall development and success of the school.
Requirements:
• Qualified teacher status.
• Extensive experience teaching Sociology at KS4 and RE at KS3.
• Proven record of delivering good or outstanding lessons.
• Excellent subject knowledge and passion for Sociology.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Commitment to raising standards and school improvement.
