Main duties of the job
Support the Pharmacy Team to provide an exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation and professional, ethical and clinical requirementsResponsible for leading, managing and delivering the specialist pharmacy service of oncologyScreening & verifying Chemotherapy regimens/prescriptions as well as dispensing, checking, & releasing these chemotherapy prescriptionsProviding a clinical ward pharmacy service delivering outstanding pharmaceutical care to meet the patient's needsTo provide support to consultants and patients whilst also advising the hospital and other departments on the safe management, appropriate and cost effective management of medicines and ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standardsContribute to the development of the pharmacy service and medicine management improvements across the hospital striving to achieve outstanding results

Job responsibilities
Who we're looking for:
1. You must be a qualified Pharmacist with a valid GPhC registration
2. Experienced individual with ideally 4 years plus experience as clinical oncology pharmacist
3. Experience of working in a hospital
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Willingness to assist in all areas of the pharmacy department as needed
