Puro Associates are currently supporting a well-regarded, long-established law firm in Birkenhead is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Coneyencer to join its residential property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated conveyancer looking to work in a supportive, professional environment handling a varied caseload of residential matters for private clients and investors.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department and enjoy a hands-on role with autonomy and responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities of the Conveyencer:
Supporting the department head in managing a wide range of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfer of equity.
Taking full responsibility for your own caseload, handling files from instruction through to post-completion.
Drafting and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the process.
Prioritising tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Providing clear, regular communication to clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors involved in the transaction.
Making efficient use of case management systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage workload.
Achieving individual and departmental targets through organised and diligent working practices.Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years' PQE as a Solicitor in residential conveyancing, or at least 5 years’ experience managing a conveyancing caseload independently.
Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and procedures.
Excellent client care skills and a confident communicator.
Proficient in the use of legal software and general office IT systems.
Highly organised, with a methodical approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.What’s On Offer:
