Job Description
The Firmwide Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm's data and analytics journey, ensuring data quality, integrity, security, and leveraging insights to drive decision‑making. The EMEA Chief Data Office (CDO) is part of the CDAO and is responsible for adopting the Firmwide Data Management Strategy in EMEA and applying data policies, governance and standards consistently across all Line of Business and legal entities.
Job Responsibilities
* Partner with Line of Business and Corporate Function CDO colleagues to provide governance over the data agenda inline with global firmwide policies and local regulatory requirements.
* Work with the EMEA Regional CDO Executive Director to own overall EMEA CDO Data Governance BAU, ensuring a consistent approach across LOBs and Legal Entities.
* Promote and improve awareness of data culture across the franchise.
* Partner with Compliance, Legal, Government Relations, Technology and Cybersecurity Policy and Partnerships to stay aware of data‑related regulatory initiatives and govern both regional and jurisdictional compliance.
* Automate existing manual reporting and governance metrics processes to scale current processes for specific jurisdiction or legal entity requirements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Proven data governance experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, flexible and capable of engaging various functions, locations, and businesses.
* Self‑motivated and resourceful, able to work independently in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
* Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with partners and senior stakeholders to support business goals.
