A great opportunity to join a team on nightsworking within multiple sectorsas a manual turner. Youll play a key role in working on one-off and small batch projects, this is a hands on position which will involve using a range of manual machines.
Manual Turner Responsibilities:
* Operate manual centre lathes, including Heavy duty machines
* Machining one-off or small batch projects
* Breakdown, repair and modification work
* Work from technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations
* Working on internal and external threads
Manual Turner Experience:
* Five years experience in a Manual turning or machining position
* Previous experience working on Colchester lathes
* Ability to interpret technical drawings with excellent attention to detail
* Quality measuring devices micrometres, verniers, etc.
