As a Sr. Advanced Producibility Quality Assurance Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our aerospace products. Your expertise in Avionics, Aviation Software, or Aerospace Quality Assurance will be instrumental in shaping aviation technology's future. You will report to our Sr Certification Engineer Manager and work from our Yeovil, UK location on a hybrid schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct design/development audits at Honeywell Aerospace sites and with external engineering suppliers.
2. Participate in development activities throughout the product lifecycle to ensure process compliance and efficiency.
3. Assess engineering activities and track non-conformances related to software, hardware, and system standards (e.g., customer, military, regulatory, AS9100/AS9115, DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754A).
4. Ensure engineering activities comply with defined procedures.
5. Support product and site assessments by external customers.
6. Provide feedback to engineering teams and project management on design and development compliance.
7. Participate as a quality representative in design/testing/peer reviews, ensuring criteria are met.
8. Become the engineering quality signatory for drawings and documents, ensuring quality requirements are integrated.
9. Align supplier quality organizations with Honeywell and customer requirements.
10. Interface with site quality leadership, regulatory personnel, and external customers as needed.
11. Identify high-risk areas and design audit plans to mitigate risks.
12. Limited domestic travel may be required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Avionics, Aerospace, Software, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
* 8+ years in an engineering development or quality assurance role within aerospace.
VALUED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Strong process evaluation and compliance skills.
* Proactive, with excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communicator with global teams.
* Experience as an auditor is a plus.
* Familiarity with standards like DO-178, DO-254, DO-160, AS9100, AS9115, ARP-4754A.
* Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
* Self-motivated with initiative.
* Experience monitoring engineering development activities for quality assurance.
