Mechanical Fitter – Beeston, Leeds, West Yorkshire
£38,000 + Paid Overtime + Additional Allowances
4-Day Week - Monday to Thursday (37hrs)
Responsibilities
* Building complete bespoke machinery - not just sub-assemblies
* Working with shafts, bearings, gears, linkages, pneumatics, and precision components
* Reading and interpreting detailed mechanical drawings and specifications
* Inspecting, testing, and verifying components during the build process
* Taking pride in producing machinery built to last
What You\'ll Bring / Qualifications
* Proven machine build or special-purpose machinery experience
* Strong understanding of mechanical principles, fits, and tolerances
* Ability to read, interpret, and build from detailed engineering drawings
* A right-first-time mindset and pride in quality workmanship
