We’reon the lookout for a skilled Bus Body Technician to join our friendly and dedicated team at ourTaffs Welldepot.You’llhelpmaintainand repair our fleet to the highest safety and presentation standards, supporting a modern mix of vehicles and ensuring theyremainroad‑ready, compliant, and fit for service as our fleet continues to modernise.
Whatyou’llbe doing:
3. Preparing vehicles for repaint and refinishing damaged paintwork
4. Observing and reporting body or structural defects
5. Carrying out modifications and repairs to the vehicle structure and body fittings
6. Cutting, forming, and fitting sheet metal, ply,fibreglassand other materials
7. Fitting panels, windows, doors,mouldingsand accessories
8. Using welding equipment for structural repairs
9. Ensuring all work meets health & safety and DVSA standards
Whatwe’relooking for:
10. A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
11. Hands-on experience in coachbuilding or vehicle body repair (PSV/HGV preferred)
12. Able to work independently and take initiative
13. Qualified to Level 3 in PSV or HGV Body Repair, either City & Guilds Level 3, or NVQ Level 3, or
14. BTEC equivalent
