Overview
We’re looking for a Program Manager to lead large-scale technology transformation initiatives within retail banking for a consulting organisation. This role sits at the intersection of business change and complex technology delivery, working with senior stakeholders to drive outcomes across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end delivery of complex transformation programmes across retail banking clients
* Manage multiple projects/workstreams, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets
* Engage senior stakeholders (C-suite to delivery teams) to drive decision-making and programme governance
* Oversee implementation of core banking, digital, or payments transformation initiatives
* Identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and proactively manage mitigation plans
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, engineering, and business change
* Drive best practice programme management standards within a consulting environment
Key Requirements
* Proven experience delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes within retail banking
* Strong consulting background, with experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement
* Deep understanding of banking systems (e.g. core banking, digital channels, payments)
* Track record of managing complex, multi-stream programmes with distributed teams
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
