We're on the lookout for an experienced bookkeeper who's confident working independently, comfortable with cloud-based systems, and excited about delivering a high-quality service to clients.
This role sits within Brook Financial, part of Old Mill, and is ideal for someone coming from either an industry or accountancy practice background who is looking for a new challenge in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our Digital Accounting team, you'll:
* Deliver accurate bookkeeping and financial admin for a portfolio of clients
* Assist with the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
* Work closely with client managers to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard
* Use cloud-based systems to streamline processes and improve reporting
* Be a key part of a team that values quality, reliability and relationships

Requirements
You'll bring solid experience in bookkeeping and financial administration, along with:
* Confidence using cloud accounting platforms like Xero, QuickBooks or similar
* A strong understanding of VAT, bank reconciliations, and processing transactions
* The ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines and juggle multiple client needs
* An interest in digital tools and improving processes
* A friendly, client-focused mindset—someone who's easy to work with and happy to support colleagues
An AAT Qualification (or Equivalent Experience) Is Preferred.
