SEND Tutor – Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced SEND Tutor in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire to join our expanding Alternative Provision Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a meaningful role, supporting children and young people with SEND who are unable to access mainstream education through 1:1 or small group tuition.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
* Support children and young people with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties
* Provide tuition in a range of settings, including homes, schools, community centres or online
* Monitor progress, adapting your teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
* Liaise effectively with the Newstaff education team and local authority contacts
* QTS, PGCE or demonstrable tutoring experience
* Proven background working with SEND learners
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Ability to build rapport and trust with young people and families
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply
* Driving licence and access to your vehicle (desirable)
