Hackney Council is recruiting a Deputy Head of Service and Principal Therapy Lead (Adults).
This is a senior interim role (3-6 months, with potential to extend) leading key therapy services across adult social care.
Rate: 400- 450 per day
Hybrid working available
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead operational delivery of Occupational Therapy, Sensory, Adaptations and Telecare services
* Ensure high-quality, person-centred support focused on independence and wellbeing
* Manage service budgets and support cost-effective use of adult social care resources
* Provide leadership that supports staff development and performance
* Collaborate with partners across health, care and the voluntary sector
* Contribute to strategic planning, inspections, and service improvement
Requirements:
* HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
* Proven leadership in adult social care
* Strong operational and budget management experience
* Understanding of legislation, safeguarding, and best practice in OT
* Enhanced DBS (can be arranged)
