Teaching Assistant – Year 3 SEN Support (Hyde)
Start Date: October Half Term | Full-Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Hyde, which is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Year 3 with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time role, beginning after the October half term, and involves both 1:1 and small group support.
The school has been rated "Good" by Ofsted and is committed to nurturing the spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual development of every child, regardless of their ability. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining this inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to students with SEN to enhance their learning and personal development
* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver differentiated learning activities
* Deliver 1:1 intervention to help pupils reach individual learning milestones
* Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
* Collaborate with staff and external professionals to support the holistic development of each child
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Prior experience supporting children with SEN in an educational setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
* Completion of a Level 2 Safeguarding Course (Training can be provided if needed)
