We’re seeking a strong and steady Interim Home Manager to provide continuity and leadership to a well-established service supporting adults with mental health, learning disabilities, and neurological needs.
This opportunity has arisen following the recent departure of the Home Manager. The service holds a Good CQC rating, with strong occupancy levels and stable staffing. The priority now is ensuring that progress continues, standards are maintained, and the home does not lose momentum during the transition to a new permanent leader.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining business continuity, ensuring that quality, compliance, and performance remain consistently high, and that the culture within the home continues to improve. You’ll provide visible leadership, clear direction, and reassurance to both staff and residents — keeping the service steady and focused.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day operational leadership and management oversight across the service
* Ensure high-quality, person-centred care delivery and full regulatory compliance
* Maintain and build upon recent improvements in standards, governance, and performance
* Support, mentor, and hold the team accountable to deliver consistent outcomes
* Address cultural challenges, embedding a positive, open, and professional environment
* Oversee assessments, care planning, and clinical governance processes
* Work closely with the Deputy Manager and senior leadership team to sustain service stability
Requirements:
* Clinical background essential (RGN or RMN)
* Proven experience managing services in either Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, or Neuro care
* Skilled in leading through transition and maintaining performance during change
* Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
* Enhanced DBS required
Contract Details:
* Duration: 3–4 months (dependent on permanent recruitment process)
* Inside IR35
* Day Rate: £400–£450 per day
* Start: ASAP
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interim Manager to provide stability, leadership, and assurance during a key period of transition — ensuring that quality and care standards remain high and that the home continues to thrive.
