Job Description
We are partnering with a global, private equity-backed technology business headquartered in Leeds to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth organisation with an international presence, providing strong exposure to statutory accounting and external reporting in a dynamic environment.
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely statutory accounts across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting the wider finance function.
Key responsibilities will include;
* Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
* Assist with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Support continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.
* Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:
* Minimum Part-Qualified (AAT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
* Strong understanding of statutory accounting and financial reporting
* Excellent attention to detail and technical accounting knowledge
* Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders
* Proactive and eager to learn and develop professionally
