Role Overview
The
UX/UI Developer
will play a critical role in shaping the future of our CRM and Originations platforms.
A UX/UI Developer bridges the gap between design and development, ensuring that digital products are both visually engaging and highly functional. They combine user experience research with user interface design and front-end development skills to deliver seamless, intuitive, and accessible applications.
You'll be responsible for analysing user behaviour, gathering insights, and translating them into actionable recommendations that enhance usability and deliver a best-in-class user experience. This role sits at the intersection of product, technology, and customer engagement, ensuring that system growth is driven by data, user feedback, and design thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research & Insights
· Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, pain points, and workflows.
· Gather and analyse feedback from brokers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
· Map end-to-end customer journeys to identify friction points and opportunities.
UX Analysis & Design Support
· Translate research insights into user flows, wireframes, and recommendations for product improvements.
· BA experience to be able to articulate and present a viable solution for a UX development.
· Work alongside Scoping and BA team to ensure new and existing system enhancements are user friendly.
· Support the product team in defining requirements for CRM and Originations enhancements.
· Collaborate with all OMS teams, including developers, sales, marketing and QA, to ensure solutions are user-centred and aligned with brand guidelines.
· Leverage expertise in information architecture and storyboarding to craft user-focused designs that improve navigation, discoverability, and overall satisfaction.
· Use data-driven insights to guide design decisions, turning raw information into meaningful recommendations that enhance product experiences.

Convert UI designs into functional interfaces.

Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth functionality.
·
Optimise performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
System Growth & Optimisation
· Evaluate existing CRM and Originations processes to improve usability, adoption, and efficiency.
· Advise and guide scoping and development teams on design and userbility of new and existing system enhancements.
· Conduct competitor and industry benchmarking to inform innovation.
· Support testing and validation of new features to ensure a seamless user experience.
Stakeholder Engagement
· Act as the voice of the user in product development discussions.
· Present insights and recommendations to leadership, product, and technology teams.
· Work closely with developers to ensure UX requirements are understood and implemented.
Key Skills & Experience Required
· Proven experience as a UX Analyst, UX Researcher, or similar role within SaaS, fintech, or CRM/Originations systems.
· Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, usability testing, and research methodologies.
· Experience with front end development and wire frame creation.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
· Demonstrated success in designing and optimising experiences across web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Knowledge of the mortgage/financial services industry is desirable but not essential.
