Key Responsibilities of the Geo-Environmental Engineer role:
* Conducting and overseeing ground investigations, including borehole logging and coring, soil sampling, and field testing.
* Writing factual and interpretive reports based on field data.
* Ensuring health and safety standards are met on site.
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Managing the technical aspects of projects, with potential for client interaction and project leadership.
What we're looking for:
* A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering).
* Some prior experience in a geo-environmental or geotechnical role, with proficiency in ground investigation techniques.
* Strong report writing and communication skills.
* A full UK driving licence, as travel to site is required.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Live in or near to Edinburgh.
