Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation, and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The role holder will support the development and enhancement of learning and teaching with a particular focus on the management of the Science Shop and Community Outreach activities within the University, co-developed with community and voluntary sector partners. The role holder will also actively support fair access, progression and success and contribute to Ulsters regulated Widening Access and Participation Plan for the Department of Economy. - ABOUT YOU - 1. A primary degree or equivalent plus significant relevant experience in an education-related role relevant to community engagement in learning and teaching, with substantial relevant experience within a higher or further education context. 2. PGCHEP Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice or PGCE (FE) Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Further Education). 3. Evidence of partnership working and supporting collaboration across a diverse range of organisations, including education and community organisations and a knowledge of issues affecting them. 4. Experience of supporting learning and teaching through providing professional advice and supporting further or higher education academic staff and students.
