* Develop and maintain group-wide compliance frameworks, policies, and methodologies to meet international, European, and local regulatory requirements.
* Support business units and local teams in applying compliance tools, conducting assessments, and ensuring readiness for new regulations.
* Drive technological improvements to enhance compliance processes, including evaluating tools, coordinating due diligence, and managing external providers.
* Conduct regulatory monitoring, provide training, and prepare reports to keep senior management and boards informed of compliance risks and developments.
* Manage relationships with external advisors, regulators, and third parties, ensuring confidentiality and effective coordination across functions.
* Act as deputy to the Group Head of Compliance, supporting governance boards, compliance plans, risk assessments, and ad-hoc regulatory projects.
The Candidate
* You must have at least 8 years’ experience of Life, Home or Reinsurance Compliance.
* You are working towards, or already hold, a recognised professional Compliance qualification.
* You bring strong IT skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* You have a solid understanding of key compliance topics, current and emerging risks, and hands-on experience managing compliance programmes.
* You have a proven track record in implementing and supporting long-term strategic compliance initiatives.
* You offer strong project management experience, able to deliver on multiple priorities.
* You possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate clearly with varied audiences, from business units to senior leadership.
