About the Role
An established, family-run automotive specialist is seeking an experienced and skilled Mobile Auto Electrician to join its growing team. This role involves travelling to customer locations across the Home Counties to install a range of aftermarket vehicle accessories.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, capable of working independently, and confident managing installations efficiently within set timeframes.
Key Responsibilities
* Mobile installation of aftermarket vehicle accessories for cars, vans, and HGVs
* Installation of aftermarket and OEM products such as trackers, camera systems, immobilisers, parking sensors and other related accessories
* Diagnosing and resolving auto electrical issues
* Delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service
* Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a professional standard
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in vehicle accessory fitting or auto electrics
* Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems
* Ability to work independently and confidently in a mobile role
* Excellent problem‑solving skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Relevant vehicle fitting certifications (desirable but not essential)
