Are you looking to make a difference as an Assistant Psychologist? We're recruiting on behalf of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. The roles setting is in a slow-stream, low-stimulus day care service providing rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injury and associated neuro-behavioural challenges. The role: Support the day-to-day operation of the unit under the direction of the Clinical Lead and Manager. Assist with psychological assessments of service users. Deliver individual and group therapeutic or activity-based interventions. Contribute to formal review processes and multidisciplinary team discussions. Accompany service users on visits and activities outside the unit. Participate in service evaluation, audit, training, and quality improvement within the unit. Contribute to risk assessment, management, and reporting in collaboration with colleagues. The Person As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience: Essential: Psychology graduate. Knowledge of the impacts and implications of brain injury for adults cognitive, emotional, functional and behavioural presentation. Hold a current drivers license.
