We are recruiting for a commercially focused accountant to join a growing finance team. This is a versatile role with exposure across multiple areas of finance, ideal for someone looking to take ownership of commercial reporting and support wider business decisions. This position requires somebody to start at short notice, so applicants must either be immediately available or available at short notice and can be offered as either a fixed term contract or permanent role. Responsibilities Produce management and commercial reports to support decision-making Work with operational teams to monitor performance and provide financial insight Assist with month-end and management reporting processes Prepare forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls Contribute to finance-related projects and initiativesRequirements Strong commercial awareness with experience in management reporting, forecasting, or budgeting Comfortable working across multiple finance functions with an adaptable approach Excellent technical skills, including accounting systems and Excel Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively Clear communicator, able to work collaboratively with colleaguesSalary: £55,000 - £65,000 This role offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure to finance functions, make a real impact on business decisions, and contribute to the development of the finance function.
