Title: Highways Maintenance Operative

We are excited to offer a permanent Highways Maintenance Operative role to join our Kent Account in Kent. This position is based on site at Swanley Highways Depot, The Teardrop Centre, Swanley, BR8 8TJ. The role offers a competitive salary and overtime. Standard working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday days. You will be placed on a rota for on-call duties, which is paid in addition to the salary.
Responsibilities
* All aspects of highway maintenance
* Drive/operate vehicles requiring general and specialist skills, including vehicle checks, routine maintenance and cleaning
* Emergency callouts and winter maintenance operations
* Take responsibility for the safety of yourself and others
* Allocation and capturing time and resource utilisation in line with the operated allocation system
