Marketing Assistant / Sales Support
The Role
This is a dynamic, content‑led role with a strong focus on social media creation and digital marketing, alongside supporting our Sales team with vehicle presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Marketing
* Creating regular, engaging video and photo content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms
* Confidently presenting vehicles and promotions on camera
* Generating creative content ideas that drive engagement and enquiries
* Filming walkaround videos, new model launches, used car highlights and promotional campaigns
* Supporting paid and organic social campaigns
* Monitoring trends and adapting content to stay relevant and engaging
* Supporting the Marketing Team with website administration, online updates and digital content management
* Representing Thames Motor Group at off‑site events and creating live/event‑based content
Sales & Vehicle Presentation Support
* Photographing new and used vehicle stock for our website and online advertising platforms
* Uploading and managing vehicle images to ensure listings are accurate and appealing
* Ensuring all used vehicles on the forecourt are well presented at all times
* Preparing and displaying correct price boards and vehicle specification sheets
* Ensuring new vehicles in the showroom are presented to manufacturer standards
* Producing and displaying clear spec sheets and finance examples for showroom vehicles
* Supporting the Sales team with general administrative and marketing tasks as required
* Maintaining high presentation standards across the dealership
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Is creative, energetic and passionate about social media
* Is confident and natural on camera
* Enjoys presenting and engaging with an audience
* Has strong ideas for content creation and understands what performs well online
* Has good IT skills and is comfortable working with websites and digital systems
* Has a keen eye for detail and presentation
* Is organised, proactive and self‑motivated
* Is confident representing the business at events
* Must hold a full UK driving licence
Experience in content creation, marketing, photography, automotive retail or events would be advantageous but personality, creativity and confidence are key.
