About The Role
Cornerstone Healthcare is seeking a Learning & Development Facilitator to design and deliver flexible, compliant learning interventions that foster a culture of continuous professional development and organizational growth.
The successful candidate will utilize a variety of blended learning solutions tailored to individual needs, engaging learners effectively and enabling practical application of skills. The role involves collaboration with NAPPI UK and other accreditation bodies to ensure compliance with standards.
As part of a team, you will contribute to maintaining compliance with legislation and responding to learning needs across the organization.
Please note that this position requires on-site presence and involves travel to services in Hampshire, Surrey, Bristol, and eventually Birmingham within 12-18 months.
Essential Experience:
* Minimum 18 months experience in a Learning & Development Facilitator role
* Full UK Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle
* Good general education standards
* Experience designing and delivering learning interventions
* Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently and in teams
* Interpersonal skills: approachable, empathetic, respectful, assertive
* Innovative approach to face-to-face, digital, and blended learning
* Ability to adapt delivery styles to diverse learners and recognize subconscious biases
Desirable Experience:
* Healthcare or Social Care experience
* Coaching and mentoring experience
* Degree or relevant qualification
* Subject-specific accreditation (e.g., First Aid Trainer, NAPPI, Fire Safety)
* Experience with digital learning delivery
* Inclusive work experience with vulnerable groups
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, with flexibility for travel and shift patterns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and maintain engaging induction programs for new staff.
* Collaborate to ensure induction aligns with organizational standards.
* Deliver learning interventions supporting organizational needs and compliance.
* Assist in planning the annual L&D program.
* Ensure all learning content complies with policies and legislation.
* Conduct observations and competency checks for compliance.
* Maintain accurate records and evaluate learning effectiveness.
* Adapt and improve interventions based on feedback and needs.
* Provide additional training and support as needed.
* Support risk assessments and care plan updates.
* Provide data insights to management on L&D performance.
* Maintain personal development in line with legal and industry standards.
* Support administrative tasks within the L&D team.

Cornerstone Healthcare provides specialized care for individuals with challenging behaviors related to neurodegenerative and mental health conditions.
Our residents primarily have neurological degenerative conditions like Dementia combined with mental health challenges, unsuitable for standard dementia or elderly residential care homes.
We operate three services in Waterlooville, Curdridge, and Mytchett, with two new services opening in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
