Role overview
As an Optometrist at Vision Express, you’ll work with state-of-the-art technology including automated refraction, non-contact tonometry, automated keratometry, fundus camera, visual field analyser, OCT, and automated phoropters.
Your passion for optometry supports our ambition to ‘See More, Be More’ for our customers, enhancing their lifestyles through tailored eyecare and eyewear solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with advanced technology such as Automated refraction, non-contact tonometry, automated keratometry, Fundus Camera, Visual Field Analyser, OCT, and Automated Phoropters.
Although the advertised hours are fixed, we are open to discussing flexible working options to suit your needs, whether that’s around school runs or a compressed week.

Who is the perfect candidate?
* Experience testing patients' eyes and providing expert recommendations on eyecare and eyewear solutions.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate professional terminology into understandable language for patients.
* Strong teamwork skills across store departments.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Confidence, passion, drive, and enthusiasm.

The basic salary can go up to £75,000, depending on experience and location, complemented by:
