Recruitment Consultant/Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Job ID: 1944) Company: ASCO Employment Type: Permanent/Full Time Location: Aberdeen Working under the guidance of the Recruitment Team Leader, the Recruitment Consultant / Trainee Recruitment Consultant will support the recruitment team across permanent and contract recruitment activities, contractor administration, and compliance processes. This role is designed to develop core recruitment and resourcing skills while contributing to the delivery of high-quality service to clients, candidates, and contractors. Roles & Responsibilities include: •Promoting a positive Company image through first class service delivery & customer engagement. •Support candidate generation - identifying candidates through targeted networking and searches on internal database and social media platforms. •Managing available candidates and building lasting relationships with contractors, including site visits •Assisting in management of key client accounts •Strengthening client relationships through regular contact and site visits to ensure full understanding of the company needs, their work culture and environment. •Monitoring market/rate information and trends •Attending client open days and industry events •Maintaining and updating OBM's Candidate Management System/database •Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the customer •Processing worker contract documentation as per ASCO Workforce Solutions •Verification of qualifications, references and identification in accordance with ASCO Workforce Solutions •General recruitment administration (formatting CV's, writing job adverts) •Advertising vacancies on social media •Ensuring REC best practice and compliance with Agency Worker Regulations •Participate in an on-call rota as and when required to support contractor and client needs outside of standard working hours. Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours) •Strong communication skills, both verbal and written •High attention to detail and strong organisational skills •Professional and confident approach to candidate and client interactions •Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, candidates, and contractors. •Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. •Proactive, reliable, and keen to take ownership of tasks. •Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems. •Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and confidentiality at all times. •Commitment to personal development and progression within recruitment Minimum Qualifications •Full UK Driving Licence •A strong interest in recruitment or resourcing •Willingness to learn and develop within a recruitment environment. Desirable Qualifications/Competencies •Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, administration, or customer service •Experience working with ATS / CRM systems (e.g. Tracker) •REC Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (CertRR) or willingness to work towards it.
