Overview
An exciting opportunity for a TB Clinical Support Worker to assist in improving patient safety and the patient experience through continued improvement in the quality of our services.
Key Responsibilities
* Support CNS with TB clinics.
* Speak with patients about treatment compliance.
* Answer and triage patient telephone messages.
* Review and validate TB service database.
* Work across sites, including The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford.
* Conduct telephone reviews with patients.
* Order consumables as required.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 in a care‑related subject and experience in an acute healthcare setting.
Ability to work and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Work Environment
The post holder will work under the guidance and direction of the TB specialist nursing team and the lead TB Clinical Nurse Specialist.
