Production Chef
Actual Salary: £23,856.57 - £26,011.47 per annum
About the Role: As a Production Chef, you will oversee the daily operations of the Waterfront kitchen, preparing and cooking meals to a high standard. You will also play a key role in supporting learners, ensuring compliance with health and safety and food safety regulations, and contributing to innovative menu planning.
Essential Criteria
* English and Maths at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject
* Recent experience working within catering
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff and learners
* Willingness to acquire new skills relevant to the post
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high‑quality meals for service in the Waterfront kitchen
* Support learners in a real work environment, providing guidance and mentorship
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and food safety regulations
* Manage food orders and collaborate with the Head Technician on procurement
* Contribute to theme evenings and open events, incorporating sustainable produce into menus
