I C Talent is proud to be working with a well-established secondary school on the outskirts of Peterborough to recruit a dedicated and experienced Business Studies teacher for a full-time, permanent Head of Department position starting in September 2026.

The Role
As Head of Business Studies, you will take full responsibility for the strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the department. You will play a key role in shaping curriculum design, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and driving student achievement at both KS4 and KS5, including A Level.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clear leadership and strategic direction for the Business Studies department
* Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS4 and KS5, including A Level
* Design and implement a dynamic, well-structured curriculum
* Track and analyse student performance to ensure strong outcomes
* Coach, support, and develop departmental colleagues
* Contribute to wider school improvement initiatives
* Uphold safeguarding procedures and adhere to all school policies
About You
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have at least three years’ experience teaching Business Studies
* Demonstrate experience delivering Business Studies at A Level
* Possess strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Business education
* Show clear leadership capability and ambition
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic success
