Who You Are You are an experienced pest control professional with a significant background in pest management, particularly in a commercial or local authority setting. You possess a sound understanding of health and safety legislation and have demonstrable knowledge of legal requirements for the safe use of pesticides. You are customer-focused, act with integrity, and are motivated to deliver results and improve performance. You hold a Royal Society of Health Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Pest Management or an equivalent qualification, and you have a full clean driving license. What the Job Involves Your role will be part of a specialised team providing expertise in pest control services. You will be responsible for surveying, identifying, and eradicating pests within council housing stock, other council-owned buildings, and domestic properties. You will also focus on servicing and promoting pest control contracts to maximize service income, providing expert advice to senior officers, and assisting with supervisory duties. Key accountabilities include conducting proactive surveys, responding to reactive reports, advising clients on proofing measures, ensuring safe handling of poisons, and maintaining records and equipment.
