Salary: £? - ? per year Requirements: We are looking for cyber security specialists across the compliance-and-remediation spectrum who can deliver real change to small and medium-sized business clients. We welcome contractors and small-business suppliers to apply. We will assess your CV profile, limited company, and cyber security background for suitability. Experience in one or more of the following areas is relevant: Certification & Compliance, Assessment & Testing, Remediation & Hardening, Monitoring & Response, Governance & Leadership, or Incident Response. Responsibilities: Deliver cyber security engagements for UK SME clients under structured delivery with clear acceptance criteria and proper oversight. Support certification and compliance activities such as Cyber Essentials/Plus, ISO 27001, GDPR, cyber insurance readiness, and supply-chain assurance. Carry out assessment and testing work including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, phishing simulations, and M365/Azure security reviews. Implement remediation and hardening measures such as MFA/zero-trust, Microsoft Defender/EDR, email security, and ransomware resilience. Provide monitoring and response services including Microsoft Sentinel/SIEM, MDR, and vulnerability management. Offer governance and leadership support such as virtual CISO services, security policy development, risk assessments, and awareness training. Assist with incident response, including breach support and containment, and post-incident remediation.
