Quantity Surveyor The Opportunity This role offers the chance to take real ownership of project finances while working closely with senior commercial and operational teams.
You will be involved in the day-to-day commercial management of projects, helping ensure they are delivered profitably, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements.

Quantity Surveyor Project Exposure You will work across a diverse range of projects including:
Residential developments
Education facilities and school projects
Healthcare schemes
Commercial and mixed-use developments
Hotel and leisure projects
Public sector and community buildings
Projects range from refurbishment and extension works through to high-quality new build developments, offering strong commercial variety and technical challenge.
Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities Manage project costs from pre-construction through to final account
Prepare valuations, variations, and payment applications
Procure subcontractor packages and manage accounts
Monitor project expenditure and forecast costs accurately
Assist with CVRs and monthly commercial reporting
Support contract administration and risk management
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and clients
Help identify opportunities to improve project profitability
Quantity Surveyor About You We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented surveyor who is confident managing commercial responsibilities and building strong working relationships.
You will ideally have:
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
Strong understanding of cost management and procurement
Good contractual awareness
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation ability
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Youll be someone who takes pride in accuracy, values collaboration, and enjoys contributing to successful project delivery.
