Key Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Provide 1:1 or small-group support for students. Assist teachers in creating engaging, inclusive lessons. Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils. Help promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Contribute to a supportive, caring learning environment. Teaching Assistant Requirements A genuine passion for working with children and young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a calm, flexible approach. Experience with SEMH or SEN students (desirable but not essential). Degree or background in Psychology, Drama, Sports, or a related field (advantageous).
