Flexible People are seeking a number of reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established logistics operation, based in Reading. This is a Monday to Friday role offering consistent hours and competitive pay. The start times are anywhere between 04:00 – 07:00 - all shifts are all approximately 10-hours long. The Pay rate is £19.32 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) About the Role - As a driver, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service to customers while ensuring efficient and compliant transport operations. Key Responsibilities - * Deliver and collect laundry and linen between the depot and customer sites * Act as a professional Service Ambassador, providing excellent customer service * Accurately record deliveries and collections using a PDA or route manifest * Ensure compliance with all road transport legislation and company procedures * Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects * Load and unload cages, including handling clean and soiled (bagged) linen * Maintain safety and security of vehicles, goods, and third parties at all times * Follow allocated delivery routes and schedules efficiently * Report customer queries and feedback using the correct processes * Attend driver debriefs and communicate any updates or opportunities Requirements - * Valid Class 2 (Category C) License * Up-to...
