Role: Finance Director - UKI Location: Runcorn – North West About the Business We are a private equity-backed global business operating across multiple sites, delivering high-quality operational solutions to our clients. The Role Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Director – UKI will take ownership of the full financial operations for our UK and Ireland business. You will lead a talented finance team and play a central role in our transformation programme, whilst ensuring the rigour and control expected of a PE-backed environment. This is a hands-on leadership role - you will need to be comfortable operating at both a strategic and transactional level, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders across the business. Statutory & Group Audit Lead the preparation and management of statutory and group audit processes end-to-end. Ensure full compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards. Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and group finance. Cash & Treasury Management Own cash flow monitoring, forecasting and management across the UKI business. Ensure local and group cash targets are met, and proactively identify and mitigate liquidity risks. Lease Financing Arrange and manage lease financing solutions to support operational requirements. Maintain strong relationships with financing partners and ensure appropriate structures are in place. Month-End Close Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to the group. Drive continuous improvement in the speed and quality of reporting. Shared Service Centre (SSC) Leadership Oversee the finance SSC, driving efficiency, accuracy and a culture of high performance. Act as a key escalation point and build strong working relationships across the SSC team. Transformation & Project Delivery Lead the implementation of the purchase-to-pay (P2P) process as part of the wider transformation agenda. Identify and drive further process improvement opportunities across the finance function. Essential Professionally qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or equivalent. Big 4 or Top 10 trained. Proven track record in a senior finance leadership role (Senior FC, Finance Director, Deputy CFO or equivalent). Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and audit processes. Experience in a PE-backed, multi-site or complex group environment. Demonstrable experience leading change and process improvement initiatives. Location & Working Arrangements This role is based in the Northwest of England. We operate a hybrid working model, with an expectation of regular on-site presence. Full details of the working arrangement will be confirmed during the process. What We Offer Base salary of £100,000 – £130,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
