We are seeking a vibrant and kind-hearted Teaching Assistant to join the team at Portfield School. You would work either within our primary or secondary phase supporting our students between 4-16 years old. We have Full Time and Part Time positions available.
Our Teaching Assistants are vital in ensuring each student reaches their full potential. Each TA develops positive working relationships with students, understanding their likes, dislikes, and interests to personalize lessons.
The role
Working at Portfield School is unbelievably rewarding, and no two days are the same. You might be swimming, playing sports outdoors, celebrating a breakthrough with a tricky maths problem, or witnessing a student's first conversation. Being part of these milestones is incredibly fulfilling!
This role can be physically and emotionally demanding at times, but you will never be alone. Ongoing support is available from team members, line managers, leadership, mental health first aiders, and our Employee Assistance Programme. Additionally, you will undergo a 12-week training program to set you up for success.

To be successful as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
