IT Support Technician Monaghan-based | Full-time | Permanent A well-established multi-site manufacturing group is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their internal IT team. This role offers broad exposure across infrastructure, end-user support and production systems within a dynamic operational environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional looking to gain hands-on experience across a diverse technology estate while supporting business-critical systems. The Role You will provide IT support across all departments, working closely with the IT Manager to ensure systems remain secure, stable and efficient. This is a predominantly on-site role based in Monaghan, with regular travel required to other UK and Ireland sites. Key Responsibilities Provide Windows desktop and end-user support Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple applications Support embedded and production line systems Manage and configure Microsoft 365 Monitor backups and remediate issues Install and configure laptops, desktops and printers Apply security patches and system updates Manage user accounts and device records Liaise with third-party vendors and software providers Record and document work through the helpdesk system Assist with small to medium-sized IT projects Technology Environment You will gain exposure to a broad technology stack including: Windows Server Microsoft 365 & SharePoint SQL Server Fortinet & Ubiquiti networking Mimecast Email Security ManageEngine Endpoint Manager ERP / Accounting systems (Sage, Coins) Manufacturing & BI applications What We're Looking For Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk or IT Support role Strong troubleshooting skills Good knowledge of Microsoft environments Excellent communication and customer service skills Organised and methodical approach Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Desirable: Experience within a manufacturing environment Why Apply?
