A well-established M&E contractor delivering large-scale residential and commercial developments is looking to strengthen its in-house design capability with the appointment of an Electrical Design Engineer. With a strong order book and repeat business from key clients, this role offers the chance to work on technically challenging projects where electrical design plays a critical role from early concept through to handover. The Role: Producing electrical designs including LV distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarms and data systems Carrying out design calculations and preparing technical documentation Developing coordinated drawings alongside mechanical and BIM teams Supporting value engineering and cost-effective design solutions Attending client and contractor design meetings About You: Proven experience within electrical building services design Comfortable working across RIBA stages Strong knowledge of UK regulations and industry standards Proficient with industry software (e.g. Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD/Revit) Detail-oriented with a strong commercial awareness Why Join?
