About The Role
Are you a passionate Chef looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our Butlin's Buffets team in Skegness, where variety truly is the spice of life! In this role, you’ll lead and develop our talented team in one of our fantastic buffet restaurants.
At Butlin’s, we believe that no trip to the seaside is complete without great food. Your culinary skills will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests, every single time.
Your Responsibilities:
* Support the Junior Kitchen Manager and oversee daily operations in your section.
* Ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Lead, train, and mentor Commis Chefs, providing guidance and support.
This is a 35-hour role, working 5 days over 7, including weekends, with pay received fortnightly. Here are the shift details:
* Breakfast Shifts: 4am - 12pm
* Dinner Shifts: 11am - 7:30pm
Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business and support the team. Live-in accommodation may be available for those over 18 relocating to the area, subject to a DBS check.
About You
We’re on the lookout for individuals with experience at a similar level. You should be:
* Hardworking and determined, with a reliable nature.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving, ready to enhance the guest experience.
* Confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Experience managing margins and controlling costs.
* A commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
