TPF Recruitment are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our client's team for 25-30 hours per week in Maidenhead. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing essential support to the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients using accounting software (, QuickBooks, Xero).
2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately.
3. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a regular basis.
4. Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC regulations.
5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
7. Respond to client inquiries and provide assistance with financial matters as needed.
8. Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
