A leading accountancy and business advisory firm is looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join their team in Bishop’s Stortford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with audit experience to gain exposure to a varied client base and progress their career with excellent training and development support.
As an Audit Semi Senior, you'll be working with a friendly and high-performing team, supporting a broad portfolio of clients that includes SME businesses, not-for-profits, and large corporate groups. Your work will be split across audit, accounts preparation, and tax computations.

Role Responsibilities
* Assist with the planning and delivery of audit assignments
* Prepare statutory accounts and basic tax computations
* Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather necessary information
* Work as part of an onsite or remote team, sometimes leading smaller engagements
* Support junior team members and provide on-the-job coaching
* Ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget
* Gain exposure to a variety of industries including education, charities, and property

Candidate Requirements
* Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent)
* Experience in statutory audits within an accountancy practice (essential)
* A working knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
* Comfortable using audit software (experience with Caseware is a bonus)
* Strong communication and client-facing skills
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn
