Are you an experienced Bookkeeper/Payroller looking for a new part time opportunity to work in an Accountancy Practice in the Rugby area?
THE ROLEYou will be working for a Rugby based accountancy practice as a Bookkeeper getting involved with all bookkeeping duties including payroll. You will undertake accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and audit exempt limited companies within a portfolio of clients. You will prepare VAT Returns, management accounts and general accounts work including sales and purchase ledger processing, cashbook and petty cash reconciliation and reconciliation of bank accounts. Provide end to end Payroll service for Clients along with all associated tasks. You will be meet some clients face to face and have a professional and approachable persona. You will be keen to play an active role in a dynamic team and willing to contribute to the success and development of the team and the firm as a whole. You will work on various systems including IRIS, Sage, XERO, and QuickBooks, along with MS Excel.
REQUIREMENTSIdeally you will have 2+ years practice experience and a good knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and MS Excel. You will have high standards of written and oral communication and the ability to work on own initiative in a very busy team. You will possess general accounting skills, be enthusiastic about providing great client service and use to managing your own set of clients, working to strict deadlines. CIS experience would be an advantage.
