What will you do?
As a Buyer, you’ll:
* Procure and maintain the availability of aerospace components to support the Jet2.com fleet.
* Primarily support aircraft undergoing heavy maintenance across internal and external facilities.
* Ensure material and logistical requirements are actioned to support maintenance schedules.
* Progress orders and manage transactions, including conducting quote comparisons to secure cost efficiency and component availability.
* Communicate across departments and contribute to projects that improve materials support and procurement processes.
* Provide broad procurement support across all areas of the purchasing team when required
What do we need from you?
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has proven purchasing experience, preferably within an aerospace environment.
* Demonstrates strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
* Understands and interprets current market conditions with a commercial and technical mindset.
* Is highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to manage time effectively.
* Brings an operational, hands-on approach and thrives as a team player.
