The Role of Production Line Supervisor
* Leading, motivating and supporting the production team
* Managing daily line activities to achieve production targets
* Delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance
* Conducting probation reviews, training and coaching team members
* Ensuring stock is used correctly and efficiently
* Championing Health & Safety standards within the department
* Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
* Supporting the Production Manager and providing cover when required
What we need from you
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
* Ability to multitask in a busy production environment
* Previous experience within food production/manufacturing
* Experience operating plant machinery
* Good standard of English and Maths
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
