3 months contract with local authority This role involves collaborating with various professionals, children, young people, and their families to identify needs and coordinate multi-agency intervention plans. The position requires leading a multidisciplinary family support and safeguarding service, ensuring timely responses to the needs of children and families in line with local policies. The goal is to achieve positive outcomes through early help work and evidence-based interventions, while also acting as a specialist in specific practice areas to support the team. Responsibilities Collaborate with professionals and families to identify needs and coordinate intervention plans. Lead a multidisciplinary family support service, ensuring timely responses. Deliver high-standard family support services to achieve family outcomes. Coordinate and deliver early help work for positive outcomes. Implement evidence-based interventions to safeguard and promote welfare. Serve as a specialist in areas like domestic violence, substance misuse, or parenting. Provide timely responses to the needs of children and young people. Act as the lead professional for assigned cases. Use common assessments to develop effective multi-agency support plans. Maintain high standards of case recording and database use. Participate in and deliver training in specialist areas. Engage with families to promote participation in assessments and support plans. Act as a Designated Safeguarding Professional, fostering multi-agency partnerships. Maintain and improve practice and performance through supervision. Provide high standards of practice and customer care. Manage and prioritize complex caseloads, escalating issues as needed. Organize and chair case planning and review meetings. Attend case conferences and share information with safeguarding partners. Oversee single agency support in line with the Think Family Outcomes plan. Complete assessments and reports to professional standards. Participate in performance management and audit processes. Contribute to supervision, appraisals, and team meetings. Promote evidence-based practice with tools and programs. Deliver duty service for the hub as directed. Work outside normal office hours when required. Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion. Experience in multi-agency collaboration and intervention planning. Ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams. Strong case management and recording skills.
