I am working with a leading housebuilder with an exceptional reputation for delivering high‑quality residential developments across the UK. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially aware planner to join their regional team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience within a well‑structured planning team, working on large‑scale residential schemes and strategic land projects.
The Role:
* Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications
* Assisting with site appraisals and planning strategy
* Liaising with local authorities, consultants and internal technical teams
* Contributing to appeals, policy representations and planning negotiations
* Monitoring local plan promotions and planning policy updates
About You:
* RTPI accredited degree (or working towards MRTPI)
* 12–18 months’ post‑graduate planning experience (housebuilder, consultancy or local authority)
* Strong understanding of the UK planning system
* Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
* Excellent communication and report‑writing skills
