Role description
The purpose of the role is to provide professional and complex support to the HR team (People Services) on a day-to-day basis, including support with transactional activities and documentation relating to the full employee lifecycle.
As part of the People Services team, you will participate in processes and initiatives which support continuous improvement of the service the team delivers to the ever-evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the People Services team with daily and ad-hoc administration tasks.
* Ensure all processes are followed and relevant administration tasks complete and compliant.
* Coordinate recruitment campaigns and assessment days and manage recruitment records.
* Organise new starter administration including new starter packs, references, required forms, schedule and support inductions and complete compliance checks on received documents before uploading in the system.
* Assist with disciplinary & grievance documentation.
* Carry out internal audits and resolve non-compliances.
* Run regular reports from the HR systems and distribute them to relevant recipients.
Required skills / qualifications:
* Experience as an HR Administrator or Advisor in a demanding environment.
* Sound knowledge of HR processes, best practice & compliance regulations.
* Ability to build relationships and communicate with all levels of the organisation.
* Excellent organisational skills, time management and diligence in details.
* Exposure to HR & payroll systems would be highly beneficial.
* Driving licence to be able to support the team at other two plants in Yorkshire.
