As a Product Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and data pipelines that power this transformative technology.
THE ROLE
As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure that process thousands of real-time signals, directly impacting customer experience and business outcomes.
Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
* Architecting and scaling data pipelines to handle high-volume, real-time data streams
* Collaborating with backend and frontend teams to deliver new features and improvements
* Ensuring data integrity and performance across the full data lifecycle
* Contributing to a frugal, innovative tech stack in a fast-paced, autonomous environment
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Data Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a focus on real-time data processing
* Proficiency in Python and modern data infrastructure (AWS, IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation)
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a strong understanding of the full data lifecycle
* Background in e-commerce, recommendation systems, or ML is a plus
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
