Job description

Do you want to be part of the change we're bringing to mental health support?

We have a unique opportunity for a Data & Impact Lead to join Northpoint, based in Calderdale working across Children & Young People's Services to lead the effective use of data and digital systems to understand, evidence and communicate our impact.

This is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week), offering a competitive salary of £34,920 to £41,150, plus employer pension contribution.

Why us?

Northpoint is a BACP accredited provider of mental health services across West Yorkshire. We operate digitally enabled Service Centres providing Single Point of Access (SPA) and Central Point of Contact (CPOC) services, alongside school based support, therapeutic interventions, and partnership led mental health provision.

Our work is focused on connecting children, young people and families to the right support at the right time, and we are committed to using data ethically and intelligently to improve outcomes, accountability and service quality.

What you will be doing as our Data & Impact Lead:

The purpose of this role is to lead insight led data and impact work across Children & Young People's Services, ensuring data is accurate, meaningful and used to tell a clear story about need, change, outcomes and value.

You will work closely with service managers and colleagues to move the organisation beyond activity reporting towards analysis that supports learning, improvement and strategic decision making, translating complex data into accessible narratives for practitioners, leaders, commissioners and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

* Producing monthly, quarterly and annual impact and performance reports aligned to KPIs and national standards, including MHSDS

* Running accurate data searches and exports to support analysis of access, experience and outcomes

* Developing clear narratives alongside quantitative data to explain service impact and areas for improvement

* Supporting data quality, data protection and information governance compliance

* Supporting effective use of digital systems including telephony, AireBlocks, SilverCloud and IAPTus

* Providing data to support service planning, audits, evaluations and capacity reviews

* Helping share impact data ethically with children, young people, families, schools and partners

What are we looking for in our ideal Data & Impact Lead:

We are looking for someone who brings strong analytical capability alongside excellent communication skills, and who is motivated by using data to improve mental health services.

You will have:

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Experience of working in a data, information or responsible administrative role

* Ability to research, analyse and interpret complex data

* Experience producing monitoring reports that demonstrate outcomes and impact

* Strong technical skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office

* Ability to present complex information clearly to non technical audiences

* Proven ability to plan, organise workload and support service improvement

If you have the skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for, and are passionate about making a difference to children and young people's mental health, please click the link Apply to be considered for our Data & Impact Lead role. We would love to hear from you
